Profiles with Closed Grooves

The use of profiles with closed sides is a sustained trend in applications with increased demands on hygiene and attractive design. For years, Rexroth has offered numerous profile cross sections for these application areas in 20, 30, 40, and 45 mm dimensions.
In May 2010, two completely closed profiles will be added to the MGE range.
The closed profiles have a useful groove behind a concealed side.
Rexroth's proven standard connection technology can also be used by partially milling open the groove.
This rounds out the range of Basic Mechanic Elements and opens up sectors such as food & packaging, semicon, and pharma, as well as facilitating attractive design solutions.
The 40x40L and 45x45L cross sections are immediately available in "0N" versions.

Selected 45 mm profiles in a new design - concealed groove can now be used!
The introduction of the 0N profiles gives a facelift to the following profiles from the 45 mm range.
In the future, the profiles with have a concealed, useful 10 mm groove, similar to the 40 mm profiles.
The introduction will take place gradually, beginning in May 2010, and the items will keep their current part numbers.
