Rexroth presents its product portfolio for marine technology on Boot 2010 in Düsseldorf.
High-quality and at the same time innovative drive and control components are on the ocean the ne plus ultra. Rexroth for this purposes offers all drive technologies: Pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics.
The eye catching Ergonomic heads in trendy design is a visible sign of Rexroth on the control panel of ships, ranging of the mega yachts to the workboats. Invisible in the background is a drive technology, which is characterized by the competence and innovative ability of a company, which has been developing and selling drive systems for marine technology for decades.
Components for remote controls and CAN-bus-based electro-pneumatic remote control systems belong to the product portfolio of Rexroth just as air preparation, control and starting valves for low-speed engines.
The hydraulic system can demonstrate its strengths in different motion and control functions. For instance in the building of luxury yachts: a new, compact hydraulic aggregate e.g. accomplishes several functions at the same time, like lifting and lowering bathing platforms, opening and closing massive sun roofs or operating a vessel’s side balconies silently and smoothly.
With close cooperation between Rexroth and numerous OEMs, shipyards and shipping companies, products and systems are continuously developed further. This will ensure the continued safe operation, increases efficiency and reduces lifecycle costs. For this purpose, it is important that the components used are specially designed for the ambient conditions at sea.
