The Oil Sample Point Register (OSPR) is a centrally administered national register used for easy filing and retrieval of oil sample results and the information associated with each sample point.
It is a service to our own staff and to our customers intended to elevate the importance of oil sampling and support the high degree of professionalism and discipline required for this very important aspect of hydraulic system maintenance.
If you register an oil sample point, you will be provided with a unique number for that point. You will also be provided with a metal label to attach to your system next to the sampling point.
The system incorporates the following features:
Assigns a unique number to the sampling point
Keep relevant information of each sample point with the register for referral or interpretation of results
Lab analysis is automatically filed in a central data base under this number
Provides sample point specific information in the register. I.e. sampling method, sampling interval, etc
Results can be viewed via the intranet
Specifications and norms pertinent to oil sampling are easily accessible
