Practices and programs to meet the demands of today's challenging wood industry

With the ever increasing market pressures that the wood industry is facing, every advantage, whether large or small should be considered. Spend a day with our team of motion experts in the Wood Industry and gain knowledge in what is new in motion control. From components as simple as a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder used in trimmer systems, to a complex multi axis controller that operates complete canter lines. If you’re a plant owner, maintenance manager or an engineer with an original equipment manufacturer this seminar will assist you in what is available from the Drive and Control Company and where it fits in today‘s demanding process of wood manufacturing.

How can Motion Control in the Wood Industry help you?

Today’s Wood Industry machine operations demand precision, speed and have to work in a less than perfect environment. With new emerging technologies there are more decisions to make when designing new systems or performing plant upgrades. Bus technologies, high performance proportional valves with integrated motion controllers and some of the fastest pneumatic trimmer cylinders in the world are just some of the topics. Our focus group has assembled case studies and key personnel with industry experience along with an extensive line-up of product to support you along the way. Participate in test bench demonstrations of cutting edge motion controllers, discuss the latest in HPU technology and view trouble shooting tools available from Bosch Rexroth Canada. An open atmosphere of discussion will provide you with information that will be valuable in your day to day operations.
